While corn is native to the tropical region of the American continent, the vegetable’s quality and taste improved greatly after it was introduced to Europe.
At Suzuki Farm, we grow the Super Sweet varieties.* To bring out the best taste, we try to harvest our corn at the cooler time in a day because corn will lose its deliciousness if harvested during the high temperature. *American varieties are used instead of Japanese ones.
You can boil or microwave to cook corn; wet the entire corn (you do not need to remove the corn husk nor wrap with plastic wrap!), and microwave it at 600 watts for 5 minutes.
It is rich in vitamins B1, B2, potassium, and dietary fiber as well as carbohydrates.
